Working toward my scrapping goal

Challenged

Though I did this just yesterday on my MySpace blog (challenged by Christina), I'll do the one that Fran sent since it involves photos on my hard drive instead of my profile.

The challenge:
Go to your photo folder in your computer.
Go to the 6th folder of photos.
Go to the sixth picture.
Put the picture on your blog and description of it.

So here it is. This is in the folder I have of pictures of Caitlin. Taken 12.26.06 it is perhaps obvious as to what is the subject. She had two loose teeth, and her permanent teeth were coming in right behind them! When I took her to the dentist, fearing this might cause some problems (like I have), I was told that it would be fine, that regular use of the tongue will force the permanent teeth forward. (And the dentist was right, of course.)

As to whom to challenge? I don't know. Most everyone I know who has a blog owns scrapping-specific blogs, and Christina's already done it! *laugh*

Blogger Award

So this award was given to me by my friend Christina, who has a great blog herself! This blog invests and believes in the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! The following blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes* or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

*Though I must say that any prizes given would be graciously accepted. *grin*

Eight blogs I hope will inspire you or at least make you laugh aloud:
Dannie's Designs
My Creative Corner
Pretty In Prima
Rica's Haven
Schwooo! by StampinAngie
Linfes
A Day In The Life of The Paper Poppy
Paper Playhouse
(There were a few others to whom I'd have given this award, but they'd already been tagged!)

Thanks, Christina!
